The research association was funded by the Bavarian Ministry of Education and Culture, Science and Art (now: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stmwk.bayern.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bavarian Ministry of Science and Art<\/a>)<em>&nbsp;<\/em>and reviewed by <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.ifkw.lmu.de\/forchange\/academic-reviewers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">seven academic experts<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p>Focus was placed on questions of competencies, action and decision-making abilities of individuals, groups and institutions under conditions of existential change \u2013 the concept of <em>Resilience<\/em>. The managing director was Sabine Toussaint. Since the beginning of 2016, Prof. Dr. Michael Meyen was spokesperson of the network (in 2014\/15, Prof. Dr. Claudia R. Binder was the spokesperson). Deputy spokesperson was Prof. Dr. Markus Vogt. The association comprised 13 research projects from five Bavarian universities and a wide variety of disciplines: geography, media and communication sciences, political sciences, philosophy, psychology, law, sociology, theology, business administration, economics, financial mathematics and industrial engineering (ForChange, n.d.).
